Total fasting was considered good in old practices, which is not the case today. Today’s medical science revolves around timely eating. If we do not happen to eat after this time, we produce excess acid that leads to hyperacidity. Therefore experts suggest that we should eat something healthy at least every 4 to 5 hours.

Well but today’s health experts also warn against overeating and therefore suggest that fasting days will do good for both body and mind. With fasting, the person learns the art of controlling one’s hunger and can cope better to diet regimens. However, one must understand that absolute fasting is injurious to health and therefore should be avoided. No wonder the experts are annoyed by crash diets. Have your limits set and fast for the best results!
